Francesco Camarda continues to be the subject of speculation given that he has turned 16 and thus is able to sign his first professional deal, but he has not yet done so.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) write, after his debut in Serie A and the applause at San Siro, he started scoring again with the Primavera and with the Italy U17 team, as we explored in a feature last night.

In addition to his physique, he has a mature head on his shoulders too. Last March 10th he celebrated his 16th birthday and as a gift he could have received his first professional contract with Milan. Instead, everything has been postponed.

There will be time to talk about it, perhaps in July, when the season will be closed and priorities will shift from the field to the mercato.

What is certain is that, since all discussions have been postponed, no requests have been made by the agents (Riso-Mecacci) or the family, neither to Milan nor to one of the many European clubs that are carefully observing.

Therefore the rumours of huge salary requests and demands for massive commissions are absolutely unrealistic, and rejected with annoyance by the entourage. The regulations prevent agents and family members from receiving sums of money deriving from the signing of a player’s contract until he turns 18.

For Camarda, who grew up with the Rossoneri youth sector, his future will never be a question of money, but rather of growth prospects. Thus, everything is postponed for a few weeks, when all the parties will sit at the table.
