Watch: Brad Marchand breaks Bruins career playoff goals record

The man so many people in hockey love to hate got another milestone goal on Saturday night.

Brad Marchand's power-play goal 8:20 into the second period of Game 4 in the Easter Conference first-round playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs was his 56th career playoff goal. That breaks the Bruins franchise record. Marchand had been tied with current Boston president Cam Neely with 55.

Marchand, the Bruins captain, has three goals and four assists in the playoffs.

His goal gave Boston a 2-0 lead on Saturday. The Bruins lead the series 2-1.

Of course, Marchand has also got under the skin of the Maple Leafs throughout the series.

He is also one of five Boston Bruins in team history to score 400 goals. He has 401.
