The Seattle Seahawks announced Monday night they’d be without a starting pass rusher for the rest of the season due to injury. The Seahawks defense has made it a point to have a better defense than the 2022 quad, and the front seven has helped Seattle reach a 4-2 record.
Unfortunately, they’ll miss a player that has contributed multiple sacks this season. According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, head coach Pete Carroll announced Monday that Uchenna Nwosu would be out for the season. He will need surgery for his torn pectoral.
Seahawks’ LB Uchenna Nwosu does in fact need season-ending surgery on his torn pectoral, per source. Seahawks’ HC Pete Carroll had said “it looks like” Nwosu would need surgery for his pec.

Nwosu had 16 total tackles and two sacks in the season for the Seahawks. He was giving Carroll’s defense plenty of ball production this season. He had two forced fumbles through the first six games.
Our Lads projects Nwosu’s replacement to be the Seahawks’ 2020 second-round pick, Darrell Taylor.
